Since 2012, I have been a part of the Santa Rosa primate research project, first as a graduate student then a research technician and now as a data management advisor. The project was established in 1983 by Dr. Linda Fedigan in the tropical dry forest of Área de Conservación Guanacaste, Costa Rica, in what is now a UNESCO world heritage site. Today, the project is co-directed by Dr. Fedigan along with Dr. Katharine Jack and Dr. Amanda Melin, and is one of the longest continuously running wildlife research programs in the world. 

Broadly, my research focused on two key themes: 1) how the monkeys react to environmental change, and what resources they exploit to do so, and 2) how infants, and ultimately populations, are affected by extreme environmental and social periods.
